Hotel Torenhof is a charming place with beautiful gardens and delightful breakfast. Unfortunately, our room was stifling without air conditioning.

Charming historic decor throughout the hotel.
Check-in was a chaotic experience as no staff were present, and we had to locate our own rooms without guidance. The breakfast was limited, lacking freshness and quality. it felt more like a chore than an enjoyable meal. the absence of local accents in the menu was disappointing, especially considering the appealing surrounding culture.

Recommend it for couples looking for charm
The staff were incredibly helpful made sure I had a gluten-free breakfast the next day said they’d even recommend good places to eat nearby. Even enjoyed the historic decor it felt like stepping back in time, which kinda adds to the whole vibe of being away from it all, you know.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but for what you get, I’d say it’s still acceptable.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room, and it was spacious and spotless. The comfy bed was perfect after a long day. Having tea and coffee facilities was a nice touch. The historic decor added character, making the room feel unique. the bathroom bin wasn't cleaned, which was a bit off-putting.

Beautiful surroundings with an enchanting garden made for a peaceful retreat. The contactless check-in was efficient, though limited phone reception hindered communication. Delicious tapas during breakfast added a special touch but fell short of variety. While the location is serene, access to amenities requires a vehicle, making the stay a bit isolated.
